Although I might be a bit late blogging this family session in Grapevine, TX from last Fall, I am still so excited to share them with you!

These family photos were for their annual Christmas cards and we all loved how they turned out. There was a patch of evergreens on the back of their land, as well as beautiful golden light hitting the tall grass, which combined to make the perfect backdrop for holiday photos. The perfect light and location is essentially the recipe for gorgeous photography, so I lucked out with this spot in back of their house. It makes my job as a family photographer so easy! 

Aren't their outfits just the best? I love the matching plaid dress and vest the children were wearing and their mom's red pants. Its all just so perfect for Fall or Christmas portraits.

We took pictures of the family together then some mommy and me and daddy and me shots. It was really the perfect evening for a photo session!
