The Dallas Arboretum is by far one of the most beautiful places to take family and child portraits in all of Dallas Fort Worth. There’s something just so magical about the vast luscious gardens and beautiful architecture. Nestled along White Rock Lake in Dallas, it boasts over 66 acres of land and hosts over 1,000,00 visitors each year.
Each year starting in March, they host an amazing tulip festival called Dallas Blooms. It is truly spectacular and displays a vibrant array of gorgeous colors.
Since the Dallas Arboretum has limited hours, it can make it challenging to get good photos because of the light. I always recommend to clients, if they want portraits done there, that first thing when they open in the morning is best.
Going to see the tulips and vast array of spring flowers, and taking photos in front of them, is one of our very favorite spring traditions.
Below are some pictures from our adventures there last spring. I can’t wait to go back soon and take photos in their amazing pumpkin village, Autumn at the Arboretum, this fall!
