Dallas Family Photographer- Fall Family Portraits in Dallas
I have photographed this stunning family several times before but this was our first family portrait session in the Fall! Mom contacted me about taking family pictures in Dallas the first week of December for their annual holiday portraits.
We discussed locations, and since I knew this gorgeous park stayed beautiful year round we decided on this location for their Dallas family pictures.
I convinced mom to wear red as I just loved how vibrant it is in family pictures. The jewel tones are my very favorite and look stunning against almost any backdrop and any skin tone.
It was early December, but you would have never known it by the perfect weather we had that day! As a Dallas family photographer, I always make sure that my clients have a voice in the vision for their session. I provide every client with a location list and make recommendations based on the time of year on which ones I feel photographs best. In the winter or early spring, I always recommend either this park (due to the ivy coverage on the ground staying green year round) or one of the other picturesque locations I use with architecture.
As a Dallas family photographer, I always try to make sure the client matches their wardrobe to the backgrounds in the location we choose as well. Since this location is a bit more formal, mom decided on formal attire for her entire family. They all looked so elegant and the color choices were perfect.
Below are some of my favorite portraits from their session that day.
