Dallas Fort Worth Senior Photographer Highland Park Village Senior Pictures
I had the pleasure of photographing stunning Miss Zoe in Highland Park Dallas for her senior portraits. We started out in Davis Park and then moved on later to Highland Park Village in University Park (to see a full list of locations I photograph at please click here).
As a Dallas Fort Worth senior photographer, this location is one of my very favorites. It photographs well all year round and there are endless stunning backdrops. From the gorgeous ivy, staircase, draw bridge, and stone wall in Davis Park, to right down the street the elegant architecture of Highland Park Village with its colorful stairs and elegant architecture.
Zoe chose a session that highlighted three outfit changes. I always discuss with my senior portrait clients the colors and texture of their wardrobe selections so I can pair each outfit change with the perfect background. We started out in the creek area of Davis Park wearing a gorgeous purple dress from Free People. I just love how elegant it looked as it swept against the water. Her second outfit choice was also from Free People. The black lent a fun pop against the greenery and ivy. Lastly, we chose jeans and simple white crop top against the colorful stairs and architecture of Highland Park Village. I always recommend a solid understated outfit so it doesn’t compete against the bold pattern of the stairs in this location.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, the attire and hair and makeup of senior portrait clients can truly make or break your senior pictures. Zoe had her hair and makeup done by one of the talented Dallas Fort Worth hair and makeup artists I partner with and she looked absolutely stunning. Her wardrobe choices were vibrant and elegant and complimented my photography style perfectly. It didn’t hurt that she was simply gorgeous and definitely a natural in front of the camera as well!
There are so many elements that go into creating a stunning senior portrait that it is critical to intricately plan ahead to make sure no detail is missed. From wardrobe, makeup, lighting, location, posing, shooting, and finally intricately editing each image, each piece is vital to the final outcome of your senior portraits.
Below are some of my favorite images from Zoe’s Dallas senior portrait session. I would love to help you plan your senior portraits in Dallas Fort Worth. You may contact me here so we can chat and discuss your vision for your senior portrait experience.
