Fort Worth Child Photographer
I had the fun of photographing this beautiful little girl the end of last summer for her 2nd Birthday photos. I always love milestone portrait sessions and I think it’s a wonderful way to see how much your children change each year.
Since it was the end of summer, and the heat in Dallas Fort Worth had killed a lot of the trees and grass, I knew it was important to pick a location that would still photograph beautifully that time of year.
While short dead grass doesn’t lend itself to very interesting photographs, I love the look of tall golden grass at the end of summer. The pretty grass, along with the stone wall and beautiful sunset, make this Fort Worth location one of my favorites for family and child photography all times of year.
Miss Ryan was an absolute doll and kept us on our toes. We were able to snatch a few pictures of her sitting then off she went to explore the location.
When photographing toddlers I try to sneak in a couple of posed shots at the beginning then follow them around to watch them explore the location. Often times, you’ll catch the cutest expressions as they make their way around the area. We even were able to sneak in a few photos of her with her big brother before the session was over.
