Dallas Fort Worth Family Photographer
If you’ve never been to Texas Tulips in Pilot Point, Texas you are missing out! This gorgeous tulip farm is slightly north of Dallas and is the most stunning spring backdrop for family pictures in Dallas Fort Worth.
It has become a tradition every spring for me to take my girls to the Tulip Farm (and thanks to my photographer friend I usually get a photo of my girls and I together!). The breathtaking pops of colors make for such exquisite works of art. I have large canvases of my girls in the tulips hanging throughout my home because this gorgeous farm truly looks like something out of a fairyland or magazine.
While there, I usually allow them to pick several tulips to take home. We take special care not to damage any of the flowers and to pay for everything we pick. They have adorable woven baskets that are perfect for carrying your flowers and make for a lovely prop in the tulip field.
Although the light is bright, and there are many people walking in the background, it is worth the creative angles and Photoshop magic to take pictures under the magical Texas sky surrounded by the lush tulips.
Texas Tulips is probably my very favorite photo session location during the short month the tulips are in bloom in March. If you would like to schedule a family or children’s session at Texas Tulips I recommend contacting me several months before they bloom so we can select a date. Due to heavy crowds I only take sessions there on weekday evenings.
